FAQ

How long does a house lifting project take?
+
A complete house lifting project typically takes 8–16 weeks depending on the scope of work. This includes 2–4 weeks for permitting, 1–2 weeks for the actual lift and foundation work, and additional time for utility reconnection and finishing. We provide a detailed project schedule at the start of every job.
Do I need to move out during the lift?
+
Yes. During the actual elevation and foundation work, you'll need to vacate the home — typically for 2–6 weeks. We'll coordinate timing to minimize disruption and work with your schedule as much as possible.
Why choose hydraulic lifting over traditional jacks?
+
Traditional bottle jacks apply pressure at discrete points, causing the structure to twist as different areas rise at different times. This leads to cracked drywall, broken tile, racked walls, and potential structural damage. Our synchronized hydraulic system raises all points simultaneously and uniformly — the result is a dramatically safer lift with significantly less interior damage.
What's included in your "turn-key" lifting service?
+
Our turn-key service covers: structural engineering and elevation certificate, all permit applications and county coordination, disconnection of utilities prior to lift, the hydraulic elevation itself, new foundation construction (pilings, stem walls, or block as required), utility reconnection, new staircase and entry design, exterior finishing, and interior repair work. One contractor. Everything.
